Is a company set up to create a resource centre for young artists and provide services to the live performance industries. It seeks to encourage mutual support and activity amongst a network of practitioners (local and across the UK) known as DarleyArts

Services to the live performance industries: -

Events  

DMS provides sound, lighting, set design (and build if required) logistics and event organisation.

This can range from the provision of a small sound system for a pub band to project management of a whole range of technical requirements for a larger event. The company has experience of touring and outdoor events and can draw on the DarleyArts network of technicians, performers and artists to facilitate dance, drama, DJs, bands or puppetry.

Multimedia solutions for the arts

Include digital music, graphics and video. As well as being able to undertake studio work or business presentations, the linkage with DarleyArts means that drama or large screen multimedia can be integrated into an event.

Resource centre: -

Residential accommodation

Rooms available at Darley Grove for young artists starting out on their careers. Rooms are networked and there are workshops, studio and rehearsal space. Short-term accommodation can (sometimes) be provided for artists visiting the area.

It is envisaged that residents will undertake Local community arts projects. The extent, and nature of activity, will depend on the particular skills of residents at any point in time and the physical resources that are available at Darley Grove.
